Obama's grandmother Experienced traffic accident in Kenya

Foster grandmother (USA) United States President Barack Obama suffered a traffic accident in Kenya. Car en Granny Obama's half-brother deposed while trying to overtake a truck.

As reported, DailyMail Tuesday (7/2/2012), as a result of the accident, his half-brother Obama suffered minor injuries. A source says, the accident occurred when a woman named Sarah Obama was driving toward his home in the village of Kogelo, in Western Kenya.

The source it mentions, Obama's grandmother en vehicle lost control after the driver tried to overtake a truck near Kisumu airport.

As a result of the accident, the grandmother aged 90 years it was treated at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu. Sarah Obama suffered bruises and discharged from the hospital two hours later.

"The Lord with me, because if you look at the ringseknya (vehicles) and we managed to survive, you'll wonder," cetusnya told the local newspaper The Standard, Kenya.

"You can see I am not injured except a small scar on my right hand and even I don't use sticks," he added.

Sarah Obama is the second wife of Obama's grandfather from his father's lineage, Hussein Onyango Obama. Obama referred to Sarah as the "Grandmother" in his book "Dreams from My Father" in 1995. In the memoir, described about meeting Obama and Sarah in 1988 while visiting his homeland Kenya.

Obama has visited his brothers in Kogelo, Kenya three times. Obama's grandmother has gone to the UNITED STATES at least three times. In a 2008 interview, Obama said both were very close, although they had to speak through an interpreter.
