Diabetes is a chronic disease that can trigger a variety of complications if not controlled properly.
To know the traits belonging to someone if it is affected by diabetes.
Diabetes is a disorder of glucose that occur inside the body.
Diabetes does not happen automatically.
Before being diagnosed with diabetes iamengalami normal phase, then increased to prediabetes and diabetes suffer eventually.
Signs of a person affected by diabetes as reported by of diabeteslibrary, Thursday, (23/2/2012) are:
1. Frequent urination
Urination becomes frequent if too much glucose in the blood.
If there is no insulin or less then the kidneys can't filter the glucose to get back into the blood.
Then the kidneys will draw additional water from the blood to destroy the glucose.
This makes the bladder is full and people so often to pee.
2. often feel thirsty
Because of frequent urination, you will become more frequent thirst, because the process of destruction of the glucose that is hard then water in the blood is sucked to destroy it.
So someone needs to drink more water to replace the lost.
3. weight down quickly
In people with type 1 diabetes (genetic factors).
The pancreas stops making insulin due to a virus attack on pancreas cells or an autoimmune response.
As a result the body hard looking for a source of energy for the cells do not get glucose so that it breaks down muscle tissue and fat for energy so the weight continues to shrink.
In people with type 2 diabetes (factor lifestyle changes), weight loss occurs gradually with increased insulin resistance so that weight loss is not so visible.
4. feel weak and easy fatigue
Because the production of glucose inhibited cells so that food from glucose should be distributed to all the cells of the body to make energy so it does not run.
Because the energy cells don't get the intake so that people will feel quickly tired.
5. Often tingling in legs and arms
This is called neuropathy symptoms.
Happens gradually because of high glucose in the blood and damage the nervous system.
People often don't realise that it's one sign.
High blood sugar condition is likely to have occurred several years before diagnosis.
Nerve damage can spread unnoticed.
6. other symptoms
In addition there are other symptoms that can appear as blurry vision, dry or itchy skin, frequent infections or cuts and bruises, that require healing for a long time is a sign of diabetes.
