Female organ is a very sensitive and easily susceptible to infection, such as fungi and bacteria. But is it true that the use of condoms, pads and sex toy can also cause vaginal infection?

Genital infection in women can be caused by fungi and bacteria, but the most common is usually caused by a fungus. Itching, pain, release liquid aside, whitish and menstrual odor amis are common symptoms of vaginal infection.

"Since the condom tested quality, sterilized and sealed, it should not cause infection in the vagina," explains Dr. Asha Jain, gynaecologist, as reported by timesofindia, Monday (13/2/2012).

As for pads, Dr. Asha advises women to inspect the brand and wrap beforehand, as well as the need to be careful when opening the seal pads so not exposed to the bacteria.

We recommend that you replace the bandage at least 4 hours. Although blood is coming out just a little, but the sweat out can also trigger the development of bacteria.

"And because of the sex toy is foreign objects inserted into the vagina, then this sex tool could lead to infection," stated Dr. Asha.

Always clean and sterilkan before using a sex toy. Material from the sex toy is also important to note, that should not be made of a hard material or toxic.
